Professional Bio
Katelyn is an investor, entrepreneur, and consultant with experience across the U.S., U.K., and emerging markets. Katelyn is a founding Partner and board director of Delivery Associates, the leading public sector advisory firm focused on implementation of government policy, large-scale reform, and use of data and monitoring technology.
Previously, she co-founded and served as the Managing Director of Pearson Ventures, previously called the Pearson Affordable Learning Fund, a $65M venture fund that invests in education and edtech companies in emerging markets. Katelyn also led strategy and implementation of Pearson’s global efficacy strategy and was on the founding team of the FT125 Club, a division of the Financial Times. Previous investments and board memberships include SPARK Schools, Avanti Learning Centers, APEC Schools, Omega Schools, and HarukaEDU.
Katelyn started as her career as a consultant at McKinsey & Company in San Francisco. She worked on credit market sustainability with the World Economic Forum and presented at the Annual Meeting in Davos in 2011.
Katelyn is a Kauffman Fellow - Class 21. She was named to Corporate Venturing Power List and recognized on Forbes 30 Under 30. She is a frequent author and has published essays on economics, education, innovation, venture capital, corporate governance, and government policy that have been translated in over 5 languages and distributed around the world.
Katelyn loves skiing, appreciating beautiful design, and reading. She is learning web development, the art of letterpress and printmaking, and kite surfing.
